Sarzam Sultan Essancy perfume oil: cinnamon, Mystikal, tuberose, incense, jasmine, vanilla, tonka and musk
Top Notes: cinnamon, Mystikal
Heart Notes: jasmine, incense, mahonial, tuberose
Base Notes: vanilla, musk, tonka
Sarzam: cinnamon and Mystikal open spicy and dark
Sarzam brings cinnamon and Mystikal together with tuberose, incense, Mahonial, jasmine, vanilla, tonka and musk. It begins spicy and dark, turns floral and smoky through the centre, then lets vanilla, tonka and musk give the close a soft warmth.
Cinnamon sets a warm, dry accent from the start. Mystikal stands beside it as a listed note in its own right, not assigned to any familiar flower or wood. That gives Sarzam something unusual and lightly enigmatic even in the opening.
Sarzam may appeal if you enjoy tuberose and jasmine but do not want those flowers to feel only bright and fresh. Incense and cinnamon give them a darker frame. Tonka and vanilla later make the base feel soft rather than hard.
Picture cinnamon on dark wood, tuberose and jasmine above it, with a fine thread of smoke in between. Tonka, vanilla and musk sit behind. Sarzam remains warm and floral, but is much less sweetly pretty than a pure white-flower perfume.
Tuberose, incense, Mahonial and jasmine shape the floral heart
Cinnamon does not turn the fragrance into something culinary; it gives a dry, warm spice. It works naturally with tonka and vanilla, while at the start it sits beside the individually listed Mystikal note. The opening gains a distinct tension through that meeting.
Mystikal remains an independent note name in Sarzam. Because the name is left open, it feels like a dark interval between cinnamon, flowers and smoke. It lends the perfume oil a special pull without requiring a fixed description from the wearer.
Tuberose makes the heart full and creamy. Its white flower side is tempered by incense and lightly seasoned by cinnamon. It does not read as a loud bouquet, but as a warm bloom with a darker background.
Incense brings the dry, smoky side. It connects cinnamon to the later tonka and vanilla notes and offers a clear contrast to tuberose. The smoke is not ashy; it feels more like a quiet, resinous warmth.
Vanilla, tonka and musk round the warm close
Mahonial sits beside tuberose and jasmine as a brighter floral nuance. It gives the heart more light without dissolving the spicy, smoky direction. With it, Sarzam stays open and mobile even between its darker sides.
Jasmine adds a softer, velvety warmth to the white flowers. It joins tuberose without copying it. Next to incense, jasmine feels less fresh than usual, yet clear enough that the heart never becomes overly heavy.
Vanilla brings a mild sweetness to the base. It takes some dryness from the incense and suits the cinnamon. In Sarzam, however, vanilla stays a background note rather than becoming the point of the whole perfume oil.
Tonka gives the vanilla a warmer, faintly almond-like depth. It makes the close fuller without turning the scent into a pastry theme. With cinnamon beside it, tonka carries a spicy side that refers back naturally to the darker opening.
For spiced flowers with incense and a soft base
Musk keeps the base close and soft. It smooths tonka and vanilla and takes the last sharpness from the incense. Sarzam therefore ends warm and slightly creamy, while the flowers remain in the background.
The development moves from cinnamon and Mystikal through tuberose, incense, Mahonial and jasmine to vanilla, tonka and musk. The flowers become warmer over time. A spicy, smoky thread joins every part without making them all alike.
Sarzam may suit you if you like tuberose, jasmine, cinnamon and tonka in a darker, warm direction. It is for women and men who enjoy flowers with incense and a soft base instead of very bright citrus freshness.
If juicy fruit, light marine notes, green herbs or very dry cedarwood are what you seek, Sarzam will probably be less satisfying. Its appeal lies in cinnamon, white flowers, incense, tonka, vanilla and musk.
